These skylight services cover the types of rooflight we install and replace, grouped by roof and by what you want the glass to do. Each one has its own page covering what suits which room, the specification, the finish inside, planning and Building Regulations, and what the installation day looks like.

If you are not sure which type fits, start with the room. A kitchen extension with a flat roof points to a lantern or flat rooflight, a loft room to a roof window, and a windowless bathroom or hallway to a sun tunnel. Older houses and protected areas have their own page for conservation rooflights.

Every service page also has guides and short answers beneath it, so you can go deeper on a single question without wading through the rest.
