To get a skylight quote, fill in the form below with a few details about the room and the rooflight you have in mind. We reply, arrange a survey, and then send a written quote with a finish schedule. Nothing is priced from a photo alone, because the ceiling and roof build decide the work.
What happens next
- We reply
- We read your message and get back to you to talk through what you are after, and to arrange a time to visit.
- We survey
- We look at the roof from outside and the room from inside. We measure the roof and the ceiling, check what the ceiling is made of, and note how deep the build is between ceiling and roof covering.
- You receive a written quote
- It is agreed before work starts. It comes with the finish schedule for the room, which says how the lining will be formed and finished.
- We install and finish
- The rooflight is fitted to current Building Regulations, we make any Building Control notification the job requires, and the inside is finished and the room left clean. The work carries a 10-year workmanship guarantee.
None of these steps asks you to commit to anything. The survey is how we learn enough to quote properly, and you can take the quote and the schedule away and read them in your own time.
What to have ready
You do not need technical details. It helps if you can include a photo of the room, taken from the floor looking up at the ceiling, and a photo of the roof from the garden or street. Mention the type of house, roughly how old it is, and whether you have a type of rooflight in mind or would like advice.
If you are replacing an existing rooflight, a photo of any label on the frame, or the size marked on it, is useful.
If you are not yet sure what you want, say so. Many people begin with a dark landing or a kitchen that needs more daylight, and not with a product name. We can talk through the options at the survey and write down what we recommend and why.
Prices and costs
If you want to know whether a rooflight is within reach before you ask for a quote, our costs page sets out general market ranges and what moves them. For other ways to reach us, see the contact page.
